Grand Marais Sliding Hill
In addition to skiing and snowmobiling, another favorite winter past time is sledding. The Grand Marais Recreations Park has one of the best sliding hills in the region. Park staff has cleared the area around a nearby table and grill, so after sledding families can enjoy a winter picnic.
Pincushion Trails
The North Shore Run and Ski Club, maintains the Pinchushion Moutain Ski Trails is Grand Marais for classic skiing and skate skiing. All trails are groomed by snowmobile and Piston Bully. To check on the latest condition of the Pincushion trails, visit www.pinchushiontrails.org/trail_condtions.htm
